Why I started Veya

Hi, I'm Brett. I'm on your team.

I started Veya to help the local businesses that make the Valley home get the attention they deserve. Here's the short version of how it happened.

01 · A problem I saw

Great businesses were invisible online.

I grew up around small business owners here in the Valley. People who are great at what they do, whose customers love them. But if you looked them up online, you'd never have known it.

The best moments happened face to face and never made it online. Every fix on offer was an expensive agency retainer or another marketing campaign. I kept thinking: there has to be a simpler way for good businesses to get the credit they've earned.

In person

What customers felt

  • Friendly faces who remembered their name
  • Real care and honest advice
  • Families coming back for years
  • "Thank you so much" on the way out
On Google

What new customers saw

  • A handful of reviews
  • A website that didn't match the care inside
  • No easy way to share a great visit
? Nothing that told the real story
02 · A passion for building

I love making things that actually help people.

So I built the fix myself, one piece at a time. I've always been happiest creating real products people can hold, tap and use, and seeing them make someone's day easier.

Every tool Veya offers today started as something I built for a real business that needed it.

  1. 1

    A tap-to-review stand

A simple stand on a front desk. Happy customers tapped their phone and landed right on the Google review page.

  2. 2

A website that matched the care

Then a site that finally looked like the business behind it, and made it easy to book.

  3. 3

    Building a brand from scratch

I also started a bottled water brand, so I know firsthand what it takes to get a product noticed.

  4. 4

    Veya

All of it packaged together, plus AI search, ads, content and CRMs, for local owners who'd rather focus on their business.

03 · One on one, here in the Valley

I'd rather shake your hand than send a proposal.

After graduating from Arizona State University, I could have joined a big agency. Instead, I go door to door. I walk into shops, clinics and restaurants across the Valley, introduce myself, and listen.

Most owners don't need another agency. They need someone local who picks up the phone, shows up in person and actually cares whether the business grows.
